About Us
The Border Umpires Group was established at the end of the 2024 season and are the official AFL umpiring body servicing the North East Border area (from Southern NSW to Regional VIC). We have a proud and rich history, with many local success stories. From first jobs, a love for country footy, and even to AFL dreams - this is where it all begins. Our impact is greater than just on the field, we are the '19th team' who create leaders in community sport, and set our team up for life off the field.
